When Will I Receive My Benefits?

An employer and its insurance company have 21 days to either agree that your injury is work-related or to deny your claim. That is why it is very important that you seek medical care (1) to verify your injuries, and (2) to confirm whether you can return to work or if you there are any restrictions on the type of work you can do.

With regard to wage loss benefits, after the insurance company agrees to pay you, they typically mail checks every other week to injured workers. A few insurance companies will pay wage loss benefits weekly.

All workers’ compensation matters are handled on a contingent fee basis, which means that you only pay a fee if our office gets you benefits or successfully prevents your employer from stopping your benefits. Give us a call at (610) 446-3457, send an email, or fill out the form below.
