Ethics & Professional Responsibility
Lawyers face ethical issues all the time, from conflicts of interest to issues with their IOLTA accounts to concerns with how to deal with clients, and more. Our firm has been counseling attorneys and helping them navigate through the maze of ethical issues they are confronting. We provide practical advice that recognizes the importance of handling matters while also complying with the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct. We provide these services on a per-issue basis or as part of a continuing relationship. Our goal is to provide timely, practical professional guidance that assures our clients understand the issues they face, overcome any hurdles, and avoid malpractice.

Attorneys and law firms regularly consult with and retain our firm to provide ethical guidance opinions and obtain advice on techno-ethics concerns. We also assist law firms when attorneys leave or assist attorneys when they leave firms. Our team also represents attorney clients facing ethics violations before the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Client Security Fund, Judicial Conduct Board, and Board of Law Examiners.
We provide our clients with ethical guidance on a retainer or per-incident basis, allowing clients to budget appropriately for dealing with ethical concerns.
“I would like to thank Dan Siegel and his law firm for an excellent result in a legal matter they handled for me. Their hard work, combined with legal expertise, carried the day to a successful conclusion.”
