This November, founding attorney Daniel J. Siegel will appear before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for five oral arguments over two days, underscoring the firm’s reputation for excellence at the highest levels of appellate advocacy.

September 4th, 2025 (Havertown, PA) Daniel J. Siegel, principal of the Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel, LLC and Integrated Technology Services, LLC, has been elected Chair of the ABA Law Practice Division. Siegel, a nationally recognized authority on legal ethics, technology, and law practice management, will lead the Division in advancing innovation, education, and resources for lawyers and law firms across the country. 

 Siegel has long been active in the ABA as well other state, local and specialty bar associations, where he has held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Committee on Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Pennsylvania Bar Association Technology Committee. He is also widely regarded for his expertise in ethics, professional responsibility, and the integration of technology into law practice. 

 As Chair, Siegel will oversee initiatives focused on law practice management, legal technology, marketing, and finance, with a mission of equipping lawyers and law firms with tools to thrive in an evolving legal landscape. “I am honored to serve as Chair of the ABA Law Practice Division,” Siegel said. “Our profession is undergoing extraordinary change, and the Division plays a critical role in guiding lawyers and firms to adapt, succeed, and maintain the highest ethical standards.” 

 In addition to his leadership roles, Siegel is the author of 16 books and a frequent lecturer on topics including ethics, workers’ compensation, appellate practice, and technology in the law. His practice in Pennsylvania focuses on professional responsibility, appellate advocacy, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation. Through Integrated Technology Services, Siegel also advises law firms on workflow management, cybersecurity, and paperless office solutions.

HAVERTOWN, PA (September 2023) – Attorney Christa Frank High was recognized as a 2023 Distinguished Advocate for Children by the Support Center for Child Advocates. The Support Center for Child Advocates provides legal assistance and social service advocacy to children who have experienced abuse or neglect in Philadelphia County.

Attorney High was recognized at the Support Center for Child Advocates’ 2023 Annual Benefit Reception, an event benefiting the nearly 1,000 young people that the Support Center represents each year, and the thousands more helped through training programs and policy advocacy. Ms. High has been a volunteer attorney for the Support Center continuously since 2011.

As a volunteer attorney, Attorney High has represented numerous children in dependency and child abuse proceedings. She works closely with social workers to advocate on behalf of her young clients in the Family Court of Philadelphia, where she regularly appears for hearings. In one of her recent cases, Ms. High argued on behalf of her infant clients before the Superior Court and prevailed. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court affirmed the victory.

• Daniel J. Siegel has been reappointed Chair of this Committee, which provides ethical guidance to Pennsylvania lawyers and global ethics advice to attorneys throughout the country. Mr. Siegel has been a member of the Committee for over 30 years and is the principal author of many ethical guidance opinions cited nationwide as authoritative resources. For example, the Opinion, “Ethical Obligations for Lawyers Working Remotely,” of which Attorney Siegel was the principal author, was cited as critical ethical guidance for lawyers forced to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Attorney Daniel J. Siegel Appointed Co-Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Committee on Technology
• Siegel has been appointed Co-Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s newly-created Committee on Technology. The Committee was created to assist attorneys to understand and implement technology in their practices and to meet their ethical obligation to be technologically competent. The Committee will also promote policies, procedures, and actions that facilitate the integration of law with technology in the judicial system and serve as a resource for implementing laws and regulations governing the uses of technology.

• Siegel has been elected Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Law Practice Division for 2023-2024. He will then serve as Chair-Elect before serving as Chair of the Division from 2025-2026. The Division assists lawyers and legal professionals with the business of practicing law: marketing, management, technology, and finance. With more than 27,000 members, the Division is larger than most state and local bar associations. It publishes magazines and books, sponsors continuing legal education programs, and offers a wide range of resources to assist every lawyer with improving their practices. Siegel has served in many roles for the Division, including Secretary of the Division and Chair of the Division on Professional Development. (September 2023)

September 18, 2023 – Congratulations to Attorney Daniel J. Siegel, who is now celebrating his 20th year as the “Technology” Columnist for The Philadelphia Lawyer, the official quarterly magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Dan’s column focuses on practical technology advice for attorneys, ranging from what tech to use to cybersecurity, along with many columns containing practical tips for lawyers regardless of their technological skills. Dan has also authored the “Ethics” column for the magazine since 2015, served as the magazine’s editor, and has served the Bar in many other positions, including Co-Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section. He also spoken at approximately 25 continuing legal education courses for the Association.

December 8, 2021 (Havertown, PA) – The defense in a hotly contested legal battle that started in 2017 scored a major victory after the Pennsylvania Superior Court affirmed the trial court’s grant of defendants’ motion for summary judgment. The Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel served as lead defense counsel, successfully representing 31 of the 41 defendants in Liberty Mutual Group, Inc. et.al. v. 700 Pharmacy, LLC, et. al.
